Topic: Environmental Risk in Real Estate Transactions

Michael Whitehead has over 25 years of professional experience with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), site investigations, remediation, risk-based remedies, and closure of contaminated sites through state and federal regulatory programs.   Michael has worked on numerous TRRP projects including Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP), Innocent Owner Program (IOP), and Corrective Action cases.  In addition to these programs, Michael has successfully utilized Municipal Setting Designations (MSD) to obtain regulatory closure (usually in conjunction with the VCP).  He has Bachelor and Master of Science in Soil Science degrees from University of Florida.
